It all started with two sisters that grew up under the gentle gaze of the kasalong trees. Throughout their childhood they were cherished in a strong family, learning to cook traditional family dishes from their mother, from precious recipes created by their beloved grandfather. The value of family and joy of sharing food with loved ones, was as natural as the wind in the trees.
The sisters then parted, one moved to Bangkok and under the tutelage of some of the finest chefs, while the other worked in Chiangmai. In different places but still working with their love of food, fine tuning their skills and palette on the best ingredients gathered in the local markets.
They traveled throughout Thailand sampling and learning from the best chefs, each proud region, using fresh local ingredients and cultural influences produced delicious and tasty offerings, distinctly their own.
Their taste journey was full of discoveries and treasures, and their dream is to share it with you. Kasalong Thai Cuisine is that dream come true.
